factory oil pressure gauge

factory oil pressure gauge
Does anyone elses flutter and then peg the red when you start to bring the RPMs up?
I don't worry because I used to have a mechanical gauge on there and when at redline the pressure would be good, the factory one in the dash is just very confused. Maybe my sender is toast?
I just took off the mechanical one because it had a leak but I will put it back on later.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

RE: factory oil pressure gauge
its your oil sender unit, located by your oil filter, it a fifteen dollar part from ford, oly go to ford for it, car zones dont carry the right one for some reason, it unscrews then unplugs, simply replace it takes 10 min, and your guage will work perfectly, i had to do this last week,
