I would consider tire prices here as well... 18's are gonna be more expensive than 17's. Just another consideration, and one of the reasons I'll probably stay with 17's.

Bigger rimmer = smaller, stiffer sidewall...keep that in mind. That's why I went with 17s, plus I hate big wheels. 18s do look good on our cars though.

I have the same rims as my 18sbut in 17s with mickey thompsons on them and i just throw them on the back when i go to the track.

Not yet...will be going very soon. Currently have to replace my intake manifold before I can even drive the car anymore though. Stupid Ford and their plastic coolant crossover geniousness!

I just want to add that the brand of the tire will make more of a difference then the few mm you add with the rims. If you are really worried about traction I would look into a good set of tires for whatever rim you get.

p.s. I went with 18s because when I go to the track I'm not going to use these rims. I will be getting slicks when the tracks open here again.

18's are the best looking rim size for new edges, espesially when put next to 17's.
