Default Patriot heads opinions...

In the next month I will be putting the finishing touches on my mustang. I was told by one speed shop that they would like to put Patriot heads and a more aggressive cam setup in.

Has anyone had any issues with Patriot?

I sure hope that when I am done with these mods that I'd be around 300 RWHP...

Anyone with similar mods achieving these #'s?

Thanks for the help.

I'd rather have your Mustang over any Camaro.

I would just have your heads worked. For real all they are, are worked PI heads. Just get your heads worked, stainless steel valves, valve job, high lift springs, and get .550" lift cams.

I would stay away from a shop that recommends patriot heads. They had big probs a while ago. I'd fork out the extra cash and get some foxlakeracing heads myself. And get the stage 1 cam.

True. True. That's a good idea. Just check some places that already port heads. Check foxlake, dss, powerheads, livernois, sean hyland motorsport, and I'm sure they're a few more.
