Yeah, but they are nittos. They run smaller but still look bad ***. The 315 nittosare basicallythe same width of a 285 Goodyear/BFG. Thats why you get by with them on a 9' wheel. Heres a chart for example.

I have a set of Cobra R's. I have 17 inch rims with 7.5" width in front, 10.5 inch tire width in rear. My car is a 1996 GT. If only I'd take the time to set up a photobucket account, I could show people my car, I might get to that over xmas break.

Right, but from what i understand is the reason why the Nittos are smaller is because of the sidewall having a rim protector or something like that I dunno.. the surface area is still the same however. Doesn't the 315 mean how wide in cm's the tire is?

EDIT: the 315 is the width of the tire in millimeters... so the surface area is the same, its with the sidewall that makes it not fit.

u can put 325's on the back and 275's up front but i wouldnt go more than a 315 on a 9", if will bulge a bit but be okay, u shouldnt have a prob with scratchin the rim
