Is this intake manifold that i always see on ebay a scam just to rip you off or will it actually give you more hp than the stock manifold?

Also, I read a lothow people putPI intake manifolds in there car with NPI heads. Is there any "customizing" to the PI manifold to make it fit or will it just fit in fine the way it is? and how much hp do you think i would get out of just putting in a PI manifold?

That looks like nothing more than a stock 99-04 PI intake manifold. It is a little better than the non-pi manifolds but theres no way you're getting 15-20 hp out of it. 2-3 hp if you're lucky.

You could probably go to a salvage yard and get that same part for half the price. You need adapter plate to use it on a non pi engine and I dont see those listed anywhere or in the pic either.

I dont think there is a adapter plate that you can buy.
You have to kinda rig the gasket when you put it on.
There is a guy on here I think Droptopony he has a lot of good info thatI truston our npi's.
