trouble with mid pipe install
I finnaly got some space and time to try and install my mac o/r prochamber on my 04 gtyesterday and i ran into a problem. I have the stock manifolds and was able to get off all of the nuts and bolts except to the one on the pass side manifold that is sorta hiddin by the starter. I tried every combo of wrenches and exstensions i could think of then i thought well ill just remove the starter but thanks to fords need to put bolts in unreachable places i couldnt remove it either. So im stumped. I really dont wanna pay someone to put it on because theyll will charge me a **** load so i figured i would ask you folks because i know almost all of you guys have some sort of midpipe. Help a brother out!!!

you are going to need a swivel socket and long extensions.. that part is by far the hardest thing about swaping a midpipe... when I was doing mine more then a couple of profanities where said. [:@]

so you guys were able to do it. its sucks because the sockets i have either ones too deep for a swivle to fit in that tight space or ones too shallow to go over that bolt. guess i need to go to a parts store and try again.

wait a min so by a swivel socket you mean a socket wrench with a joint right before the head?? cause if thats the case i had one with a telescoping handle and i still couldnt fit that thing in there. mabey they sell smaller ones.

I'm about to change my midpipe as well. Is there anything else to know ahead of time? Anything that will make it easier? Or just soak really well then get some swivels and go for it? Also, I assume borrowing an impact wrench would be quite helpful while doing a midpipe and cat back swap.
