Default need some good winter tires

Like the title says, I need to buy some reliable tires that will see a heavy dose of rain, but no snow. My balding GS D3's no longer grip for **** in the rain. Recommendations?

They handle great I just don't want to spend 900-1000 dollars to get a whole new set in the winter. I'd rather just get a set for like 400 or so then go all out and get the gs d3's in the spring. Right now they are very low on tread and I've already spun out in the rain with them and I don't feel like taking any more chances with them.

I see, what size GSD3's do you have, just curious......and I would check tirerack to find something that will get you thru the winter

275/40/17 on fronts and rears. I've looked on there but I don't really know who makes a good all-season tire.

yea I was thinking maybe 245 in the front and 275 in the rear that would cut the cost down to around 750ish

Good all season tires are harder to come buy, but as far as winter the Dunlop M3's have a very high rating and arent super expensive

good year assurance triple-tread, they're a pretty penny but they handle awesome in ice and bad conditions, im not sure if they're avaliable in your size though [&:]
