nope you'll be fine...don't go much more than that though on a stock block. I'm sure guys with KB's can chime in on here with what they think...i dont want to say too much because i personally don't own one, but i've always heard to never really break 10lbs of boost on a stock block car.

It'd work okay, Its all in the tune. Everyone will tell you the same thing. Tuning is what makes our cars more powerful and more reliable.

Kenne Bell is BAD @$$.... And it sounds MEAN as hell..... But you can get a procharger orvortech setupat almost a grand and some change less and come out with the same result.

I havent installed mine yet but I bought a procharger p1-sc (intercooled)velocity kit from www.jmschip.com. Comes with everything you'll need to hook up and go (minus dyno time). Plus I added a few upgrades and bought a new upper plenum and t/b. Total with shipping was just under 5k and a few dollars over 5k with the t/b and plenum. The KB that you like is $4999.00. I also looked at it. Does it come with colder spark plugs, injectors, tuner, bigger MAF, etc.? Research all the different brands minus powerdyne before you buy.

Actully just a note, Procharger doesn't amke a Velocity Kit. I'm sure you know that, that's just JMS's package they offer. It's actually a pretty nice deal though will all the stuff you get. And just for word of caution, get a dyno tune. NEVER trust an out of box tune. I don't care what any dealer says, get it tuned after the install who uses SCT and get it tuned and dialed in right. Otherwise boost may haunt you. Usually you'll get those tunes on the rich side and you'll see lots of fuel use. Just a thought and my two cents. I do like that offer from them though. That's got tons of crap with it. Mine ran $3850, with injectors and the 2-core intercooler with the P-1SC. I noticed now they've upped the prices for them almosta GRAND. It's crazy.
