The biggest advantage is the amount of cold air the engine can take in. I don't have mine sealed to the housing anymore (do you have any idea how much crap is on the roads?), but it's still effective.

I'm not sure if I'm going to seal it or not. Either way it is better than nothing.

a friend of mine tried to replicate the March Ram Air kit and stole the hose and wide nozzle from his parents shop vac.
lol, actually the other day I saw my dads shop vac and thought it looked like the March system... and I got that same exact idea! I don't know if I would steel his, but I might use something with that design.
