Default 8.8 question

A customer came in the other day and asked for a rear end swap, before we could even touch the car he came back again with a brand new one.(3 including car) He said to junk the other one he was going to use. This came off a crown vic and i belive thats the 8.8. How much of a hassle would it be to put this in my Mustang? ive got gears for it too. Go for it?

An easy way to check if itll fit is if it has the same part # as the stang one. So you can call ford and ask them to check the numbers on the crown vic housing and the stang housing. I'm almost positive that theyre different but, never hurts to check.
