Too bad we didn't live close to one another, hell I'd help you do it for nothing. Been there done all of it, lol. Could probably help you shave off 3-4 hours. But it's always a nice learning experience either way.

note*** My buddies LS1 runs 7.60's in the 1/8th so hes not really slow.

An 03 cobra MAF works to about 400 rwhp and I think the lightning MAF goes higher...but I'm not sure how much higher.
you'll need a bigger coupler to fit the bigger MAF too. Ebay FTW! Oh yea, it's a bitch to replace teh MAF at this point too. Prepare for more charges from the speed shop.
An 03 cobra MAF works to about 400 rwhp and I think the lightning MAF goes higher...but I'm not sure how much higher.

Congrats! And I'm very jealous. I'm thinking at the end of next year, depending on how I'm doing financially, I might take the plunge and get blown too, since my car doesn't have alot of miles. No use adding petty mods on the 2V, you gotta go FI!!!
