car hard to start

car hard to start
about two months ago,my car started to become hard to start after sitting all night and a check engine came on. If the car is turn off for and hour or longer it takes about 5 seconds to start it and sometimes several tries. I took it to the ford dealership they said my PCV hose was cracked, they replaced the hose and reset the MIL. It started fine that day but next day back to the same old crap.I read on this forum that a dirty MAF or fuel filter could cause this. I cleaned the MAF with maf cleaner about 2 weeks ago nothing change. two days ago my MIL came back on. I change the fuel filter and car is still hard to start, I went to auto parts store and got MIL codesP1132 and P1152 both are 02 sensor codes for a rich reading on the no.1 and no. 2 banks,so I think the sensors are working, but what could be causing my car rich condition and could this be the hard start up problem. I have installed a new k&n air filter, battery tested good and no driveability issues, could this be a problem with my fuel pump, EGR valve or fuel presure regulator, please help thanks

RE: car hard to start
Gray,
your car being rich should cause it to start easier, not harder. It sounds like you got a regulator problem here.Try turning the key on( dont crank) for 5-10 sec. before starting the car. This will determine if your regulator is good. This will give your fuel pump time to fill the line and get to the cylinder. If it starts after you do this it is probably your regulator.
