what gears came in 98?

what gears came in 98?
....anyone know...my buddy said that a mechanic looked at his car and said he didn't have stockies...just wondering what came in the 98's??

I think both 3.08's & 3.27's - not sure but their should be an axle tag on his rear-end to tell - also I believe the vin# holds the axle code as well

I believe the 98 GT's came with 2.73's...the 99+ came with 3.27's

As soon as my car is fixored (as now it is fuxored) I will be getting some 4.10's. I finally found a good shop that doesn't charge out the ***...

4.10 kills your MPG and wears your car out. I was told 373 is all ya need but a guy who has 373 himself.
