Default pulley question

Ok here's my question....

I bought a TB/plenum package from a guy on here (forget the name) and he threw in his udp's for free. They are March performance. The TB/plenum work great. The crank pulley however was a little beat up so I didn't want to take the chance. So what I did was I put on the new alternator pulley and the water pump pulley and left the crank pulley alone. I changed the belt with one that is 4 inches longer. Am I completely defeating the purpose here or should I see some hp gains with only installing 2 of the 3 pulleys? The crank pulley didn't really look that smaller than the stock so I figured it really wouldn't make that much of a difference. What do y'all think?

Just a side note... the crank pulley that he threw in had the threads stripped that hold it into place when you tighten it.

I am not a 100% sure, but i think it was pointless.... the reason to pullies from my understanding is the Crank is smaller which generates it to spin faster... and create more HP while the alt.. and water pump are larger and slow down .. ... but i honestly think you defeated its purpose

Default RE: pulley question

the main pulley is the crank pulley and the March ones don't do anything anyway. only nonpiggyback ones work
