Im completely stock.... air silencer removed. I raced a 92 lx 5.0 with exhaust and cai. It wasnt a good race... recently a dodge hemi truck gave me a better race than it. So... for you guys saying the 5.0 i dunno what your talkin about. And if you say the driver matters.. well im friends with the driver of the 5.0 and been in his car quite a few times... never driven it.. but hes not a bad driver.
i raced one of those trucks before and all i had was exhaust and no air silencer and he kept up until 3rd gear! they are quick and if the 5.0's are slower, oh my god. . .

And you know 04 shakin i really would love to run you. But we both no it wont happen. Just dont call people liars. I have posted my track video. Actually my favorite car is the Mach. But i still think i would beat your car and if i didnt oh well!
Well you wouldn't there Bubba, but it's all good...I have about 300 people on here now that can attest to it! lol

First off !! I never said a 88would beat a 00GT so get that out of ur heads. Next i said my STOCK GT Convertible has ran 14.6 stock , it had flow masters phew.. Well im sorry if Some people cant drive.And 98FOURSIX if you couldnt spin the tires in a 88,5.0 then you should stop driving and go get some help, i could spin tires in a freaking yugo.. This is what i say 00GT would win , But personally the 4.6 isnt no freaking killing machine. Its pretty quick and it is faster then a stock 88 mustang. BUT what i do say is if you think your natural aspirated 4.6 can beat my 88 LX, i say bring it on. Cause it aint gonna happen! There is only a handful of 4.6 running 12s with out help so dont talk stupid junk. So if any of you have a 12 sec time slip post it in the race section i started a thread or a video,mine is there!!!! I didnt run a 12 but it will when i grab some tires,So all you wanna be street racing 18 year olds go post ur stuff. So more less put up or shut up.. Its that simple.So also if you havent seen a stock stang run into the 14s then apparently you dont go to the track enough or you arent very old.And 98 Four you are stupid if you thank a 3.8 is better suited for a 88GT.
A 99+ with full boltons, reworked STOCK heads, stage 2 cams, and a fox lake P-51 intake would easily run 12s on drag radials (with a litttle suspension work, control arms etc).

MM&FF recently did a cam comparason swap on a sohc 4.6 with a bullit intake and some reworked heads. I beileve the top flywheel horsepower was around 390 HP. The Fox lake intake would be far superior than the bullit, so expect somewhere around 410 or so hp.

Im pretty interested to know what tires you are gonna be running that will take you from a 13.4 into the 12s. I have a feeling they start with SL and end with ICKS.

I cant believe some of this **** talking against the mach1, like people just dont liek it cuz its n/a 4.6 power. I would gladly race you stinger if you dont mind coming to infineon raceway in sonoma county. Of course this would be a friendly race and i think we could be mature about the results, but just coming on here and saying "ya i tihnk i can beat your mach1." Thats a pretty bold statement. With some stickey tires and a good driver these cars are very capable of 12s. I say bring it, ill race you with just my xpipe.
