Default popping/clunking sound

after replacing control arms and removing rubber boots from springs when i hit bump and just a little movement in the road at any speedi get the clunk sound pretty loud? any ideas? coming from driver side back!

Also i crawled under the car today and noticed the muffler has been rubbing on my driveshaft... not bad there is a black ring around the driveshaft but can i drive on it for a week or so until i can get to a shop with a lift?

yeah the muffler thing will be ok till then, you will have more road noise with the rubber isolaters off. Did you check to make sure everything was tight and there was no rubbing back there? what kind of ca's did you get?

Since you took the spring isolators off, that would be my guess.

I also greased them up to where grease is seeping out!
