hmm I was asking about 4V Machs, which have a fairly high redline
Redline=6800
Max hp=6000
Max Tq=4250

So shift around 6 in 1st gear, then push it to redline for the rest?
^ For when racing, I mean....

My basically stock 2003 GT (custom intake, UPR catted X-pipe and Flowmaster 40s) pulls quite strongly all the way to 6k RPM. If I am seeking some serious go I'll run it up close to that to keep things in the meat of the powerband in the next gear--6k in 3rd is about 105 MPH with the 3.27 rear-end (verified with my GPS).[/align][/align][/align][/align]

just push it until the needlesweeps into the red every gear when racing. easy as that, really no sceince to it. we dont drive NHRA Prostock cars.
