Default what size gears to get

Im thinking about getting some new gears but dont know much about them. what is the difference between the different sizes of gears? how will the effects of each be different? any information/ opinions are appreciated.

the higher the ratio the quicker it will accelarate... theres a big debate between 3.73s and 4.10s... do a little research you'll find a bunch of threads on gears

Go with 4.10's. The gear ratio is this... with 4.10:1's your driveshaft goes 'round 4.10 times for every 1 time your wheels go 'round. Get it? The higher the number the quicker you are down low, the lower the number the slower you go down low. If you want a good daily driver that will have some decent performance at the track on weekends go with a set of 4.10's a shifter, and a set of D/R's.

im not going to argue.. there are 1,000,000 threads on this website about gears... what gears to get, what they do, what gears to get with what mod, etc, etc, etc.

No, there isn't a way to give people "rep points". No ratings or anything of the nature.

well i would say for ur mod cars i would go 410 in a hearbeat b/c they are a bit better on gas then the 5.0 so go wit hte 410s u wont be sorry
