Default new belt to bypass ac

i am going to milan dragway (MI) on oct. 2 for the "import vs. domestic" under the lights races. Do any of you know if I can get a shorter serpentine belt to eliminate the ac? did all newer stangs come with ac? maybe i should just go to autozone and ask for a new belt and see if they ask me if i have ac or not. thanks for your help guys.

as long as you don't turn on the AC, it won't be taking any appreciable power away from the engine, not so you would be able to tell anyway.

that's what I was going to say too. As long as the compressor isn't running, the clutch isn't engaged and the belt is just spinning freely. You wouldn't be able to tell the diff.
