Has anyone seen the video of a guy installing cams and springs himself? I can't seem to find it.

It's not hard, just time consuming. I'll do it for $750

ORIGINAL: redgt2000

have you thought about doing the install your self buy the gaskets and save 900 dollars?
Do it yourself... and what gaskets are you talking about? you can reuse the valve cover, and timing cover gaskets. Hey I live in the NC area I will do it for $500, I did my cams and springs.

Nope, "mustang muscle" in st louis missouri.

I did not have a good experence with the shop.

I know that MCP in stlouis told me they would have done the install for around 400-500 bucks even with the springs.

MPH is HIGH on their cam install.. something about taking off the heads to put the cams in. They told me upfront they would be more expensive than everyone else on cam installs.

Damn, it is going to be near $1,000 for installation and everything I'm just going to go FI. I think my plans have changed. At least I can install the S/C and then just pay for it to be tuned. Buying a used S/C and then having it tuned is about the same as Cams, installation and tuning. A lot more bang for your buck I suppose.
