Default Update on tranny

Here we go. I finally have a good amount of cash to get my stang back on the road. As some of you may remember, I blew the bellhousing apart driving to the PA stang meet from this forums. I got my car towed to a friend's barn to work on it and now am taking the tranny out to get it rebuilt by Hanlon Motorsports. Here is the damage assessment that I made.
Bellhousing is shattered
Starter mounts are cracked
Flywheel, and clutch are history
One O2 sensor is destroyed(the brand new one that I just put in of course)

I am hoping that nothing is internally wrong w/ the engine though. IDK, I am starting now when I have time between jobs to take the exhaust out and tranny out. I am looking at Spec II clutch and aluminum flywheel. Also, MGW shifter and Royal Purple tranny fluid. And, if funds last, a Lakewood bellhousing. IDK about the bellhousing though, any thoughs???? Thanks

if your bellhousing is destroyed, I dunno what you are gonna be able to do because the bellhousing is part of the trans....

can you replace it on the T45?

what transmission do you have? if it is the stock t45, there is only one bellhousing you can use, and that is the normal t45 bellhousing. It is part of the transmission where on just about every other tremec the tranny/bellhousing are seperate

Yes, I can. It is an integrated bellhousing on the T45 but it can be replaced. There are bolts that attach it to the tranny itself.

Yes, I am happy that I may be able to get it up and running in the near future. Riding the bus to work is not fun at all hahahhahaha. I have been doing that since mid Oct. when it happened.

I've rebuilt my T45... I know it comes apart, i just didn't know there were different ones available, that's pretty cool. So this is your DD? This is why i bought my shytbox accord hehe. Dunno about royal purple (i'm sure it's good stuff) but I run Mobil 1 ATF in my T45 and it loves it

there's not a diff one, you just have to find one off another t45 thats not busted, pretty easy to swap out though.

The lakewood bellhousings are shatterproof, or so I hear. I wasnt really sure if that was possible for a T45. I am reading that they are mainly for the 3650s and 3550s. I will have to find out.

20004.6- I would love to go TKO but, money is the object right now and I am also trying to make a decently fast car on the stock tranny and nonPI heads. To prove a point. I will be going FI eventually anyways.
