Default tps or fuel problem...

i had changed my tps and since then i was having problems.... my car say for about a month till i got around to fixing some things... now the idle is back to normal and its running smooth... but when i stomp on the gas the car falls on its face.... but if i stay above half throttle it is perfect even at about 4500-5000... anyone ever have this problem

well... im not having a problem like that it falls on its face then is fine within a second..... only when i stomp on the gas it breaks up.... im hoping its just a fuel problem...

OK. Sounds like too much fuel at first (WOT). Did you get the TPS adjusted for both closed and open voltage readings?

Throttle positioning sensors on our cars are non adjustable. Some TPS's have to be adjusted based on a certain ohms at wide open throttle, in our case, this is not the case.

If you have replaced the tps and still seem to have trouble, its probably something else or you could try getting another sensor incase your new one is messed up.
