cams or exhaust!?
I have basically full bolt ons except for a full exhaust (only have a catback for now), I can't supercharge/turbocharge/nitrous my car until I'm on my own and until I can get enough money. I think I am going to stay N/A for now. I have about 800 bucks to spend.
I have a LOT of questions: Basically tell me everything you can about cams,
I was thinking, what else can I do to get more power since I'm all out of bolt ons to do (except for exhaust)? Is cams a good idea? I was thinking VT stage 1 n/a cams. Are these good cams or should I go with a different brand? What are the average power gains? And will there be significantly noticeable lope in my idle, or just a little noticeable? How much would cams cost to buy plus install (since I have no idea how to do cams). .....or should I put off cams altogether and just get a Prochamber?

RE: cams or exhaust!?
Not too knowledgable about cams, but from what I've been told, VT stage 1 N/A cams are like $535 plus another $800 or so for installation, so your overboard on what you have just for the install. I would just go ahead and get a midpipe and LT's, thats if you dont have LT's. Mac LT's and midpipe will run about $550 or so, then the install on LT's would most likely take the rest of your money.

I wouldn't be putting cams in a stock exhaust manifolds/midpipe car anyway, but you will really need a tune after the cams as well.
Putting cams in can get to be very expensive by the time you install them, buy the cams themselves, and then pay for the dyno tune and the tuning device.
