Default Speedcal or Tuner?

I'm getting 3.73's installed tomorrow and i know i need to calibrate my speedometer, i was just wondering if i should just spend the 100 on the calibrator, or if i should go all out and get a tuner? Is the tuner really worth it? what kind of results will i be looking at with a tuner? I'm doin the gears now because i had to have the bearings replaced, now the rear end is apart so i figured throw em in now. i wanted to do exhaust first. . .now i'm lookin at gears and a tuner. . . any advice?

Can tuners really do that much? Don't they just bump the timing, with a couple of other features? I would get the tuner so that you already have it for when you do future mods, seems like it's saving money in the long run.

I got a tuner when I got my 4:10`s. It`s easy to use, and can be used with future mods.
