Default rear wheel bearing

I need a write up on how to change a rear wheel bearing. and also how much should i expect to pay, if i have some one else do it?

They cost about $60 at oreily's, I would expect to pay over $100 if a mechanic does it, not sure how to do it.

You're thinking of the front sealed bearing/hub assy.. A rear outerAXLE bearing is usually like $15 per side, plus another $5 for the axle seal... Are you absolutely sure it's the outer bearings and not the rear diff going??

Doing rear bearings aren't hard, just time consuming.. You must pull the rear axles from the axle tubes, and such.. I believe there's a "How To," somewhere in the Stickies...
