I got the HTS coated mac long tube headers, And i was wondering if header wraps are a good idea to put on them?? Any 1 have any experience with these???

I'm not a big fan of header wrap.Most of the cars I've seen it on have issues with the headers cracking. I think its because the wrap doesnt let the headers disipate heat so they fatigue faster.

Also any header thats wrapped in that stuff looks like *** [:'(][:'(]

So it not worth wrapping the hedaers. How long will the hts coating last and How much would it cost to get the headers ceramic coated somewheere...??

It will void any warrenty you might have on your headers and will cause them to rot out from moisture. There are some things that belong only on track cars and this is one of them.

I was considering it just to make them a little quieter inside the car possibly.. guess its a bad idea
