ok i have posted this on here once but yea cant get a response.


When u take your car to get dyno tuned what all do they do?[&:]

Mostly I use a dyno to check A/F. That is THE most important factor on how your car will run. They will add and take away timing depending on what your car likes, etc.

ok because im looking into tuning it myself i have a tuner a lunar series A/F gauge, and a guage that reads all sorts of engine parameters. is it possible to do it myself? I do know a bit about cars just not the new mustangs they're a whole diff. ballgame than what i'm used to.

But it loooks sooooo coooooooool. And even cooler to your usual everyday passenger that doesn't no crap about cars.... You could be like.... "Thats the flux capacitor. We gotta make sure its green before we head back to the year 1955"

Even if you could measure everything correctly, what do you set them to? The tuner's "skill" is a big part of why you pay a good shop to tune your car. After you've guessed on settings, you measure your gains or losses how? Seat of the pants is a good way to detonate your motor. Stick to what you know and save up to have your car tuned right. Just my 2 cents.

Its a good light show..... But its not neccessary.... Fuel Pressure and Boost Gauge is all I got.
