i saw a new gt500 run at the track, he did a smokin 15sec 1/4... whats the point if your not at least gunna go at it pretty hard.

wow 14s for a brand new GT500...thats just ridiculous! i mean im not a great driver by any stretch of the imagination...but come on. S197 GTs are running in the 13s.

If thats a real GT500, it lurched off the line and then the nose dived again. Horrrrrrible driverrrrr. That little red car grinded 2nd gear pretty hard LOL.

Both vid look as though the drivers aren't even trying. Its gotta be driver error. If a GT500 is slower than my new edge when stock then Carrol Shelby ought to retire.

Well, he's got a better trap but still, he should be trapping 10mph higher regardless of driver skill as long as he's actually got the pedal to the floor.

werd! The video looks like the driver just "grandma'd" it out of the hole. The rear end didn't drop or anything. I wish one of 'em would let me run it down the track.

Some of you talk about the drivers in C&D and Road & Track as being good, but alot of them drivers suck ***** at driving. I cant remember which mag it was, but it had an 04 GT running like 14.6 or 14.8, cant remember. And some have the new Civic Si running 15.1 to 15.2, but some people have gotten 14.7-14.8 out of them stock. Magazine times are avg times that probably 50% of drivers are really gonna get, some being a few tenths slower and some being a few tenths faster.

CD got an auto PI to run 15.3[8D]

one of those darker ones that ran 14 sounded like a 6[&:]either that or it was that focus's fart can covering it up
