i just put in my bassani o/r x-pipe and i have a bassani cat back and it makes me want to nut every time i get on it ....as for cops...i live in cali and that is the strictest state of them all when it comes to that, i just went into a muffler shop to see how much it would be to put cats in and the guy said dont waste your money, he said just play dumb (if you get pulled over and he looks for cats, very low chance of that happening) and the cop will tell you to put your old pipe back in like a fix-it ticket. Go for NO CATS, +performance and +sound

i have never heard a catback that didnt sound good w/o cats. personally cut em off unless you have emissions. its like tryin to fart thru a straw. it would sound better and probaly be a little better without the restriction.

cut the cats

You'll be worried at first when you get O/R about being too loud.... but that will go away in about 5 minutes I love my O/R pipe, and I just found out I have a connection with someone who works at the local ford dealership, so I'm set for inspections too. Now I just need to get a tune on it because it's running rich now that I changed the pipes. Though I just put on MIL eliminators, maybe that will help that out.

I thought cats didn't really muffle exhaust too much, without cats its only just a LITTLE bit louder right?? Or am I wrong?
Couldnt be more wrong cats are far more restictive than the mufflers themselves
