And before you all get into the "he's a bad driver" crap - I dont normally strip drive - Ive been to schools (BSR, SCG, Blackwater) for agressive, anti-terrorist driving.. e.g "automobile acrobatics" so I can drive, I just need to learn the strip stuff :-p

You just need to perfect your launch. Find an empty stretch of road-far away from EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING and practice your launching.
Shucks...I'll make it easy for you. I'll trade you my auto GT for your Mach straight up...

I have two things to say, other than the obvious launching issues you had....
1. looking at your traps, i'd say that you do have some 'shifting' issues,, but its normal,,
i was the same way, felt like i was shifting fast, but in reality i had about .3-.4 I made up in shifting improvements alone,, that'll come with practice..
and 2. considering how poor your 2nd runs 1/8 time was, you pulled a decent quarter in relation..
you're cars pulling hard up top, but your killing it in the first half of the quarter mile...
get some tires, and keep practiceing,, good luck!

If you are on street tires, don't drop the PSI. It won't help you. Keep them inflated at the recommended pressures.
Add a couple pounds to your front tires.
I'd agree that I don't think any head work was done to your car. Why would they rebuild the short block, port heads & keep stock cams & have an otherwise stock engine? Things just don'tseem to add up. Even though you were spinning to death your car should have been able to work itself over 101MPH. I'dsay it's safe to say your engine is internally stock.

Trust me it wasn't the fact that I "gained experience" it was the tire pressure.

Idk when I went to the track I was spinning horribly at first. I'm talking about 2.6-7 60' times. As soon as I dropped it from 35 to 25 PSI my 60' went down to high 2.2s-low 2.3 60.'
Trust me it wasn't the fact that I "gained experience" it was the tire pressure.

Trust me, it was just gained confidence. When you lower pressure on street tires, they 'crown' and you actually decrease the contact patch.
