Yeah, get a 15mm deep socket, a couple swivels, and at least 1.5 ft of extensions. I used an impact, but it destroys the swivel. Passenger side is a PITA, go in from the wheel well for the one thats harder. ( I cant remember if its the upper or lower one, but you'll know)

Use lots of PB penetrating spray on the bolts before trying to break them loose. The passenger side pipe to manifold bolts will be a pain, but with about 2ft of extensions and a swivel you can get it. Once you have the new pipe in place, tighten all the bolts from the manifolds working back to the mufflers. I started the other way and it leaked bad. If you have a piece of pipe thats about 6 inches or less and flared out on one end, thats a slip in gasket that goes in the drivers side to manifold pipe.

Its a fairly easy install, depending on how much time you have to spend on the passenger side manifold bolts it should take you about 2 hours.

Like MoKo said, its gonnasound awesome

+1 on the extra PB blaster (penetrating oil) Your car is a 99 so it has a couple years of rust on the bolts. After you get the old one out, assemble the whole pipe but leave all of the bolts loose. I found that it was easier to work from the headers towards the back because there is an inch or two of play in teh catback to make your final adjustments. Also make sure you have enough slack in the drivers side front 02 sensor before you go cranking the bolts down.

PB Blaster worked fine for me on most of the bolts, except for of course the hardest to get to on the passenger side, that one took out the stupid stud. Also make sure you go grab a new passenger side flange gasket for where the manifold pipe and mid pipe meet. The provided gasket is useless. If you want to read my write up that I just did, take a look here: https://mustangforums.com/m_2459165/tm.htm. If you have any other questions then feel free to PM me.
