Well how about a little more info. Are you running them on stock heads? PI heads? Aftermarket heads?

If you're running them in stock non-PI heads, I'd suggest grabbing PI heads off ebay for next to nothing.

VT performance, I'd stay away from Comp Cams cause they have a magical lift number! Doesn't matter what your using them on.

right now i am using stock heads, i dont know if i am going to do pi swap or the frpp heads because if i do the frpp there is less stuff i have to change.

I just suggest the PI heads because they are dirt cheap, and if I wanted to go more aggressive on cam I'd want PI heads as well, then you have more freedom on more aggressive cams. I figure that if you haven't upgraded the heads yet, then you probably dont want to spend a ton on cams alone. I just don't see spending too much on cams to be cost worthy unless you're going all the way. Swapping in a PI intake and PI cams however will give you quite a nice gain. Almost as much as a full PI swap.

Edit after reading your latest reply: If you don't know what you're doing yet, then I'd definitely just do PI cams for now. You can get them for $100 or less lightly used so you wont waste anything if you want to go more aggressive in new heads later. At least this is what I think I'm planning to do. A PI intake and cams and a decent tune should get you a good 50 HP give or take some depending on the tune.
