RE: y all the horor stories
If your fabricating your own kit expect a 6 month project minimum. Need a tubular k-member along with a ****load of other stuff.
Fabricating you're own i'd say you're still going to spend 4-5k atleast experimenting etc. I'd only build my own if I was going huge... like 90+mm turbo, 800+ track monster.
If you have ever tried to install long tubes, then you'd realize what a world of trouble you're in for. There is so much piping a turbo setup and there is negative amounts of room.

Get TT from HP Performance... I'd pay the extra money because of their experience and reputation. A good kit will run around 6500.00 not including installation..... If your gonna keep your bottom end stock.... you might as well just supercharge... Only reason you may want a TT setup is to bring your GT into a super pissed off 2v sohc monster. Which will require alot of money....
Project Bumboclaat was almost a TT setup.... butI saved about 3 grand going the supercharger route. The horsepower output would have been around the 700rwhp..... But who needs all that power? I will one day but one step at a time.... a solid 11 sec car on drag radials and 10 sec on slicks and skinnies is good enough for me now.
Besides..... I save alot of money on my car insurance switching to geico.....

RE: y all the horor stories
i am ONLY asking about the turbos not whether or not it is what I want to do, i have the time to build my own, also the resource and know-how
also if u think it can't be done without buying a k member and doing that swap then u really haven't researched it much because it has been done before without the swap(although i was planning on doing the swap)
does anyone have any info on the TURBOS
