alright guys heres the deal. my dad is paying me to do some landscaping around the house. needless to say itll pay for a S/C or TURBO. now the question to you guys is would you go for a S/C or a TURBO?

what S/C would you guys suggest and what TURBO kits?

another question i have is would you go for a dual turbo kit or a single turbo kit?

this deal wouldnt take place till the summer so i have some time to do some research. but im just looking for suggestions.

thanks
colin
Your dad is paying you 4000+ to do landscaping work around the house?!?

Turbo kits are a complete waste of money on a stock motor 2v.

I am personally going with a Eaton M90 Roots Blower...its a decent price and I want a torque monster.
The M90 SUCKS with a passion. All you can look forward to is lackluster performance and 370~ WHP with all the boltons you can imagine... and I haven't seen any new kits for em cheaper (significantly) than a centri style.

the work ill be doing for those who have asked about it and all is im custom building a 10' by 5' pond with a waterfall. including all the plumbing that would be needed to accomplish this. so its gonna be hard but well worth it in the end.

how would you guysrate superchargers from best to worst?

So long as you stay away from powerdyne all of the superchargers are great units with great quailty.

Just know that a turbo kit is going to be MUCH more expensive and on a stock shortblock you are not going to see that great of results. A turbo kit will certianly make as much if not more WHP on the stock shortblock safely, but everything that I have seen has the turbo cars (with stock shortblocks) definatly lagging behind the blower setups so far as drag racing.

Take a look at the 1320 video's "boostang". It just didn't seem to run right. Off the line the car would lag, and then suddenly the power comes on and it goes into tirespin, rinse and repeat until 3rd or 4th gear. If you want to that, just buy a FWD car
