tranny swap

i have a 97 gt, with and auto trans and am looking into finding a manual and putting it in my car.....any peices of advice or pointers

Put a Tremec 3650 out of a 01.5 and up, in it or a 5or600. Dont trust a T45 or aT5 that dont last.

MPS auto salvage in Georgia sells a complete auto to manual swap kit.

Thats a new one! Um T-45's are fine... 3650's suck.

lol, T-45's and 3650's are almost the exact same. They are just about as equally unreliable... or so I've heard. I have a T-45 with 97k on it and its still just fine, no problems at all, (knock on wood), and I'm the 3rd owner. It was probably treated very nicely over the years, or maybe not even, and its lasted.
