Anywhere from like $200 (Maybe a little low) to $500.

Don't forget a new bearing kit, which is around $100

You'll find a lot of variation in cost. I was quoted everything from $900 to $300 for the same job. I wouldn't advise settling for the cheapest quote you can find though, definitely find a reputable place. Gear installs are something that can be done wrong fairly easily.

I have received 2 quotes of $500 and $700. These are a little steep to me, so I will be sticking with stock gears until I can find a place near me that is a bit cheaper.

I would, that's a bit high IMO!

I got quoted $300 from a couple shops and found a repair shop that maintains a couple dirt modified race cars and they did the install for $150 with gear oil.

I just asked someone the other day and he said $700, that's with him buying all the parts and doing the install. Is that a good price?
