RE: intakes: JLT
its all good, i feel ya. So anyways, does it really even matter what kind of intake I have? And what I really wanna know about is the install, would I be able to do it myself, convert it from my MAC fenderwell to a RAI with very very minimal mechanical experience?

If you know how to work a screwdriver and maybe a ratchet with a socket or two, you can do it in a half hour or less bro lol its nothing. Oh did you ever get your gauge needles to stop sticking?

OH YEA man, you helped me out. Were you the one who told me to unscrew them a little bit to let the pressure off them so they can expand outward instead of up?? Cuz that did the trick 100%. Haven't stuck since.
Anyway, i guess if I have some extra cash sometime I'd like to get the JLT RAI. I think i'll like being able to clean it easier than my fenderwell mac. I can have it painted too.

You will not see signficant gains between any of the different aftermarket intakes.
Hell, you won't see a huge difference between stock and a aftermarket one on a lightly modded car.
