Default bullitt intake?

I was debating on which intake to get for my 97 GT...

it currently has full bolt ons, auto, and am putting on a SQ trim mongoose kit

I asked MPH which intake they thought was the best and they said the bullitt intake is the best intake for boost'd applications

Now, i didn't mention that i have non pi heads, does this matter??

also, does anybody know a site that sells the bullitt intake manifold? Will i need to change anything else considering i still have the non pi heads?? price of the intake??

just general feedback on this intake please?? thanks guys

intake is supposed to be around $700-900 last i saw..http://www.gefracing.com/Merchant2/m...y_Code=BULLITT
not a major site but definately a quick price guide..
i have one, i like it.. my friend has 03 gt with stock intake my sounds a little different and seems to get power around 2k rpm any lower is just sux =/ dont know about your heads might want to call a shop with that...and it should be a great mod to compliment your blower, i have the book 4.6 power on dyno and the guy mentions bullitt intakes lack lower end power compared to PI intake BUT with a better cam/ forced induction it would yield much higher results then a PI intake and ive seen dyno sheets on line (sorry dont remember the sites) that they add a good 20 rwhp on a blower set up. hope that helped =)

I don't think you can run the bullitt with a NPI setup... I know for sure you will need at least some sort of adapter plates to make it work.

NPI Swap FTW! Or really, for the price of the bullitt intake, look around for a low milage PI motor. A lady had a blown engine a few months ago and she said she found a 40K mile PI setup for 600 bucks I beileve.

i did order a PI, but after talking to some people i started questioning my decisions. I think i am just going to stick with the PI becuase i am not looking to spend no $1500 just in an intake setup...thats rediculous. $500 is enough for me!! lol thanks guys

is it even possible for a PI intake to fit, but a bullit intake won't? [&:] that doesn't sound possible to me.
