Everytime I get oil from parts for a 4.6, I always get 6 quarts. 1/2 quart more won't hurt anything.

It depends on how much you get drained out. The best way to do it is to dump the old oil into empty oil bottles so you know exactly how much you took out, then you know exactly how much you need to put in, give or take whatever you may have burned off.
