I like stripes, use a different color though IMO, so you can get some nice accents instead of the blended look. But its up to you. Its your car. I put black le mans on my mineral gray on the hood...they sorta look like the 40th ann. edition.

Those aren't a perfect color match for the real 40th anniversary stripes, but they do look close. Silver car, gold stripes? I don't think you should do it.

If you want to get stripes get them painted on.Stickers are for little kids to play with.
