This is another one of my speculating what I want threads so be prepared!

Can I put in IRS in my 96 GTvert? What years will fit and what mods would I have to make? Thanks!


I know all about the wheel hop and the lack of support. I'm not looking to make over 400 and the IRS rides and handles better...

They are direct swaps with the 4.6 Cobras...those guys are always looking to do swaps so you might be able to find someone with a built up IRS but wants to drag and will swap and most of the time do alot of the work...Go on the SVT forums and ask if someone wants to do a IRS for your stick axle...you might get several offers.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in withs in the rears ends? Will a 99+ IRS rear Fit into a 96 with no modifications?
