Default S/C rear GEARS

O.K...I'll ask,,as someone pointed out that the 4.10's that I have might not be what I need..for the new V-2 setup....maybe 3.73's.....instead...My question is why is this a better suited gear than the 4.10's for FI.......?Thanks
P.S .....rarely ever on the highway.....as most 70mph...and this car (@ some point) will see track 1/8th mileduty....with slicks..

the question is.. is how much power are you going to be making? It it's ~400rwhp.. i'd say 4.10s would be fine for you... if you plan on making real hp (500+), you may wanna go 3.73, maybe even 3.55?

I'd say in under 370rwhp - go 4.10... between 370-425, 3.90s... 425-500 3.73.. anything above 3.55 - or else you may have to much gear and not in your prime RWHP range long enough...

I am fairly happy with my 3.73s and 420 WHP. I don't think I would want any more gear.
