Hey guys I was wondering if anyone would be intrested in helping
me with a school project? I have to build a 4.6 and do a bunch of
writing up on it but I figured you guys could help with the engine build up right?

So the goal is to make more horsepower/torque with a FI 4.6 then a
628C.I. chevy N/A me and another kid have a friendly compition going.lol

Any way I need to know the best block, crankshaft, connecting rods
pistons, rings, camshaft, cylinder heads, valves, springs, rocker
arms, valve covers, intake, power adders are the best!

This is a all out horse power war and the is no price limit so tell me what the best parts are and lets see if its posible to stamp a giant rat!

This is a school project thats due tomarrow so please help!

dart block, 220cfm dart heads, stage 3 highlift blower cam from crower, ross dished pistons, h beam rods, forged crank, 101mm turbo putting 30psi. something along those lines you will have near 900whp i think.

Kinda both to be honest. 600+ inches? How much do you think he is gonna get outta that thing 400hp? You will be so far past the ragged edge and he could have one dominator 1200 cfm carb, Tunnel ram, 815lift roller set up and your done. You are talkin n/a for n/a or the 4.6 can have a power adder?More info needed.

Talk to Modular Mustang Racing. They're building a 1400hp 4.6 (99-04 style) motor. I've seen it personally, the shop is in Oxnard, CA near where I live in Ventura. It's nuts. He's got a 5.4 4v with ported heads, fully forged internals, big cams, two turbos and I don't know what else. It's going to be an 7-8 second car. If $$$ is no object, he's put over $25,000 in the car and the motor's not even in the car yet. They know what they're doing down there, talk to Chris.
