ive been looking to make my 96 gt a lil faster. what engine will help me do that but will just drop in?

buy a cobra engine, either a n/a one or the 03/04 one, but with the newer engines you might need to custom the mounts im not sure, but i would go with a cobra engine. 4V>2V

you should really put a 302 or a 351 in your car, parts are soooooooooo much cheaper! And they have so many products on the market already... If your going to replace your motor, theres no point going NA on a 4.6 2v. Go FI with a 2v 4.6 or even a 4v. You can go NA with a 302 based motor and make good power

don't put an LS1 in a mustang, i hope you were jokin. wouldn't drop right in anywayz, but yeah I would go with a cobra or mach engine.

I would put a 4v in mine if i were to do it over. I have a freind that put a 03 cobra 4v and 6-speed in his 96 saleen and its awesome. You would not be disappointed.

Why would you go for an LS1 when you can go for a LS6. Or just modify a LS1 motor and make it better than an LS6.
