Agreed!
Driver's race

I think you could... but it would be better if you had the tune to put 275 rather than 255 down. If you were just 255, the 05 might take you. Should be pretty close nevertheless.

If your that heated about it then I guess it could come down to the drivers. If he cant drive worth crap and you can then dont worry. I had a guy in a Z06 try to race me a few nights ago when it wasnt raining; he was worse at driving a stick then my younger sister is and shes never driven a stick. Until it happens, forget about it. You're only letting him get you angry in the first place.

With your mods I think you can easily take a stock 05'. All the statistics I have seen on the 99-04 gt's are around 13.9-14.1 in the quarter. And it is the exact same for the 05+gt's. So stock for stock it is a drivers race. Dont start bragging about weight though, being a vert you are not the slimist out there. I have heard before that the 99-04's weigh less then the 94-98's. Is that true?? I always thought it was the other way around. Could someone post the weights of the past two and the current gt.

I beat an 05 or newer GT once at a 55 mph kickdown. It was close but a decisive win for me.I have an 04 GT with T/B,&B air filter,UDP's,Timing adjuster, full Bassani exhaust, and stock gears.
You think you get in fights because you're Irish?Try having Irish AND Viking blood shooting through your veins.

Between 255 and 275 at any givin time lol. But it jsut depends on what mods are on and what tune i have one. But thats not the point even if the 05 and i were the exact same HP he weighs close to 4000 lbs and i weight just a few hundred over 3000 lbs. Plus i have many suspension mods and brand new 275/40r17's and as we all know its not about the power its about getting it to the ground.
Whew isnt that true. lol
