99 cobra vs 02 Mach1
Okay, here's my dilemma. I currently have a 99 cobra w/ 55k miles and completely stock. No mods what so ever. I came across an 03 Mach1 which is just beautiful. It only has 4500 miles and has 4.10 gears, pro 5.0 shifter built specifically for mach1, CAI, and some suspension work done to it. It also has the 04 mach1 transmission put into it.
I can either get rid of the Cobra and get the Mach1 or keep the Cobra and start doing some mods to it. Which should I do??? Please help as I'm thinking about doing it on Wednesday. Thank you all!!

Wow, that's a hard choice.
Both cars are nice. What kind of difference are you looking at if you make a trade?
The other question I would have is why the transmission has been changed.

RE: 99 cobra vs 02 Mach1
lol Im sure I am a little Biased with the opinion but..... Yeah I would go with the Mach 1. I could go on for a while about this but I will ty to keep it short. In 99, Im sure you know that the Cobra's hp ratings of 320 were found lacking, so ford did their thing to fix it, no doubt those cobra are some sweet cars, and they still look nice too. The Mach 1s are in my opinion one of the best bang for the buck performance cars available today. even though they are rated at 305hp Stock cars are getting dynoed at 285-290 hp that = real hp close to 330-340. About the supercharging deal, a mach 1 isnt the best candidate due to ts already highly set compression ration at 10. you can only run aroun 6-7 pounds max before you have to start doing some major tinkering. For the money you are also getting a limited production vehicle with great heritage, brembo brake components, Tokico shocks and struts, a tremec tranny, bad azz interior and upgrades, and the "shaker hood" which is the icing on the cake for me. Machs with just drop in filters have run 13.0s to 13.3s completely stock. Well that should tell you what kind of car you are looking at, I know I love mine and wouldnt give it up for nothing! Good luck with whatever you choose!
