first off bacxk in the day there were no "high end muscle cars" second the mid end are too slow and still too expensive and the vette was never a muscle car it was always always a sports/supercar never muscle
those are the same thing and they needed power adders to get there
those are called pony cars not muscle and the gto is a sedan now so i m still waiting

Just because its not a mustang doesn't mean it is slow. Especially considering Mustangs are the slower cars out of the modern day muscle cars. Don't start some thing about how they are no muscle cars now.

As much as I love my GT I would drop it in a heartbeat for a GTO among other cars. Faster and has so much more potential. They may not look as good but I keep hearing about how comfortable they are....

The only thing though is that GTO's handle like big heavy bulls on an ice rink. They suck almost as bad as the old f-bodies. GM is just finally starting to get it right with the Z-06. But then again Mustangs all arent that good at handling either.

Any 5.7L GTO will tear up a new edge stock for stock.. but he already has a new edge. Bang for your buck, I would rather have a mach 1 or 03/04 cobra.
