Default I might get a GTO

I posted a while back that my car was a total loss and I was searching for a new car. I have pretty muched decided on an 04 GTO (the slow one) Here are my reasons.

1) It will only cost 19k out the door and the car has 11k miles on it.
2) My car payment will drop from 500 a month for the stang to 320 a month for the GTO
3) The insurance is much cheaper than the mustang for some reason.

I love mustangs and all but I just cant afford to get another one. My fiance has a 2005 sixer and I love it too. I need to start saving money for a house once I graduate college. With this being said I love this site and have learned a ton about mustangs and cars in general so I dont wanna leave. I know some members have chevys as well as mustangs. I would love to see an LS1 Tech section or something on this site. Mods please help me out!!!!

Atleast you had the ***** to come forward and admit that your losing your *****; and thats the first step towards getting them back; knowing you lost them. I wont say that your ***** are totally lost just not as low as they should be. The GTO is a good car and you have your financial future to think about. I hope you have fun with your GTO and you and your future wife live long and happy. Maybe, when you get a good job, settle down, and save some money; you can buy your ***** back. Good Luck.

He just bought *****, a big heavy sack of *****. He gave up his smaller & lighter *****.

GTO's are great cars. You can take a road trip & save all kinds of money because you won't need 6 months of visiting a chiropractor.

So there is no hope for a subforum for Ls1 Tech? I know this is a mustang site but there must be enough people with mustangs & chevies or just car junkies to warrant one. This is a great site and I dont want to have to get tech info for the GTO if I even decide to get it, elsewhere.

Dan you're right and I said it too the GTO is a great car. I got to test drive one during the summer. They're powerful and good on gas. But I saw a great opp. to have a lil fun about him not having his mustang. Thanks for kicking me in my *****!

I might be wrong, but isnt the 5.7 equally matched with a new edge gt?

Don't listen to the blinded Ford fanatic. The 5.7 LS1 has 90hp over our 4.6L. Oh, and you should be able to find an '04 for less than 19k.

Edit - I'm not talking to you pallidamors, but the guy you quoted.
