I don't have much for performance parts (in my sig) but when I ordered the x pipe, the Magnaflow dude told me it would add power but didn't know how much.

Soooooooo fellers, what's it actually worth vs. the stock junk, if anything at all?

Magnaflow catted x (gotta get E tested too much)
Magnaflow cat back (no drone & real purdy tips)
UPR CAI (takes the stoopid screen out of the MAF and is all shiny)

The whole Magnaflow exhaust itself should be worth a good 17-20hp and a couple ponies for the CAI.

That much huh? Just from pipes? Obviosly you are talking flywheel HP.

I'm a little surprised that we can improve the output of a stock 2v 4.6 by nearly 10% just with some mufflers and pipes.

Everyone agree with Dan's info.? Sounds good to me.

I was just reading in the latest "5.0 and Superfords" magazine they put an SLP catted x pipe and SLP Loudmouth catback on an 01 GT with nothing but an intake...keeping stock exhaust manifolds, too and got 19rwhp and 21 rw torque on the dyno.

Dead serious, man!!! They put the x pipe on first and then dyno'd it and got 13.7 with the xpipe alone. Then they put on the catback on and dyno'd it again. Stock it made 218.59 rwhp at 5200 rpms...with the catted xpipe and catback it made 238.10 at 5000 rpms. I got the magazine right here and they show the entire dyno chart.

Yep, they took a '97GT added SLP LT's, Catted X-pipe, and LM catback and took 1 second off their 1/4 mile time...yep, 1 whole second!

P.S. 96-98 cars have 6 cats stock.

Dan is about right. You will see a nice increase with the catback and x-pipe. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I'd say about 20 rwhp from the exhaust and CAI - its a good start dude.
