i use motive 3.90s every so often and as long as they are installed right you will have no problems whatsoever. as far as weight i think all gears are pretty much the same weight

i have motive 3:90's and mine have an almost unhearable whine.....but you can only hear it with the radio off, the windows up and not really gettin in the throttle...but other than that no problems at all
